While these pants are the most comfortable I've ever worn, the material does not breathe. I live in dry Arizona, & I feel as if my legs are sweating. I think these pants will work well in cooler climates (or in the Winter here in AZ). I see a few complaints on the length. I too thought they were an inch too long, but when I measured them, they were spot on to the inch! I like the waist tightener, even though I initially thought it would be useless. Again, the stretchy feel to the fabric is great! Another belt loop spaced out properly along the waist wouldn't hurt. Lastly, the netting used for the pocket material is a nice attempt, but not really practical as it always catches on my fingernails. If the material breathed better, I would've given these pants 4.5 stars & bought 4 more pair! So, if you live above the snow line, buy as many as you can find!

What can I say more than the fact that I love these pants. Stretch? Check. Breathable? Check. Zippered Cargo Pocket? Double-check (vertical and a horizontal zipper on the same pocket). I wear these pants every chance I get and will probably order another pair just to alternate days :)

Now for sizing: I am 5'10" and 175lbs. The medium fits perfectly with one exception...the 32in inseam is a bit long and will drag on the heel if you do not have them rolled up. I normally have them rolled up and snapped (a built-in bonus that keeps them from coming unrolled). If I were to get a second pair, I would probably go with the 30" inseam just to see how it runs on length, but I imagine it would be pretty short unrolled (as in probably not even resting on the top of my shoe-short).

Regardless, these are bomber pants for general wear and also to hit the crag or climbing gym. I had been in the habit of wearing loose fitting blue jeans to climb in for awhile because I didn't like having to change when I go climb...now I finally have no excuse not to wear these pants all the time and leave the jeans in my closet!!!

Great fit, feel, athletic, stylish. I wound't have a problem wearing these bad lads around town and then driving straight to the rock wall without changing. These things rock. The crotch is high enough to where it doesnt bind your legs down like a straightjacket, you have great motion. The elasticity of these pants rocks as well. I will have to comment later on the durability, but I like prAna products and they seem well built

Stretch fabric, breathable/wicking material, ideal fit for me (even without a belt) and pretty good-looking. I have several pairs of these pants and wear them almost exclusively now. Ideal for air travel (built in belt makes for one less step at security, and stretch fabric doesn't bind on long flights) and long drives and just about any activity at all. These pants have become an obsession. I just wish they didn't cost quite so much.

I purchased these pants a little over a year ago and have to say that I am in love.

I wear these pants several days a week year round. They are as comfortable as sweatpants but you can still wear them in public without appearing like you have given up on life. I wear them in a lot of situations including hiking, camping, and just lounging around. I have found that they are great for biking if you use the snaps on the legs to roll them up. Also in the summer I will often wear them rolled up in place of shorts. They breathe well and dry quickly. For long plane rides or car trips they can't be beat.

I have a 35" waist and typically wear a 30"-32" inseam. The size L, 32-inch inseam fit well in the waist and through the legs but were just a little longer than I like so I brought them to the tailor to have them shortened one inch and they now fit perfectly.

They have held up extremely well over the last year which is impressive given the beating they take while biking and the number of times I have worn and washed them. I also recently purchased the Prana Nemesis Knickers in charcoal for the specific purpose of biking to hopefully save some wear and tear on these.

The cargo pocket has zippers on both the front and top. I didn't think much of this feature until I realized I could easily access my wallet and anything else I store in the cargo pocket while sitting down or riding my bike. It has proved to be pretty useful.

There is not much negative I can say about the pants. There probably isn't a single person that wouldn't be able to find a use for a pair.
