The sweater is thin but feels dense and weightier than normal merino wool sweater. I have been wearing it for four weeks in mid-20s morning commute as a mid layer (I wear an Under Armor base layer and a light weight Windstopper Gorex softshell). It is fantastic. I feels cool but never cold. Towards the end of the 40 minute commute, I do sweat a bit. But the fabric takes out most of the moisture. You really feel a lot more confident riding in the cold with this sweater. It is also very elegantly cut, slim but not tight. I wear M and I'm 5'8/170lb. it would make a very nice casual wear. The black color is very deep and consistent.

I use my Shak all year round, from playing around town to biking to climbing in all seasons. I use this thing almost every day for everything. You wont regret the purchase.
It is fit for an athletic build and may fit a bit snugger than people are used to, but it is one of the reasons I like it; it wont drape.

I ordered the S "Hey Ya!" Green version of this sweater and I love it. I wear it all the time. It is perfect for fall bike riding. It has longer tail so you don't have to worry about it riding high while riding. It's wool, so it has all those magic qualities that makes them desirable for performance wear: sweat-wicking, warmth, slightly water repelant. It's casual enough to be worn off bike as well, I've gotten a lot of compliments while wearing it out and about.
