Great pair of thermal bottoms. I used to buy Hot Chillys stuff when I was downhill skiing back about 20 years ago. They were the best products then. Now I bought these for a week long trip to Clear Lake in Northern Calif. the week after XMAS. It was really cold there & windy at times. Was in a bass boat fishing, but I never felt the wrath of the cold nor wind. I wore these for 3 days without taking them off, except to shower. Am definately ordering more now and the top also. You can't beat these for low level activities in cold weather. If your going to be hiking or something where you will be exerting a lot of energy, you may become too warm in these though. Quit shopping around and buy these. You will not regret it. One note though: the Hot Chillys website sizing chart is incorrect. They say a size XXXL fits a size 44 waist. Not true. Even the package says a size XXL fits a size 44. The sixing chart at Amazon is correct. Great service from Amazon also. Quick delivery.

Purchased these for my Dad last year for Xmas because he is always cold. My husband and I have them for skiing, and thought these will definitely keep him warm. So when I asked my Mom what my Dad wanted for Xmas this year she said another pair of the Hot Chilly's. He wears them to bed. Gotta love my Dad.

Was worried about -40 temps at 60mph in the Upper Peninsula of MI in early Feb. These (under other gear) were warm and comfortable. Great item.
