In theory this is a nice hat. It's made of soft warm fleece and has windstopper technology. However, as others have noted, the hat doesn't fit very well. I ordered a large which has a 59 cm circumference for my head which measures 58 cm in circumference. The hat barely covers my earlobes and felt loose so I returned it. I then went to REI and tried on a medium which measures 57 cm in circumference. Although the medium fit tighter in terms of girth, it was too small vertically and didn't cover the bottom half inch of my ears! Instead, I went with a medium Mountain Hardwear Dome Perignon Beanie which is really warm and fits well.

I ordered this hat to keep my (bald) head warm during the cooler months. While it does serve that purpose, I paid the extra money for the aesthetics and that money was wasted. The hat doesn't fit well at all. I don't mean that it's the wrong size the part around my head fits fine. The dome part simply has entirely too much space and just flops around lopsidedly on my head. If you have a lot of hair that you plan on tucking into the hat, this would probably work well, but if you don't, this hat is going to sit crookedly on your head as well.

Additionally, although the colors look nice in the photo (I got the blue top/black bottom), they aren't nearly as bright in the actual product and it actually looks rather drab.

In short, I'd recommend you try another hat and give this one a pass.
