I recently tried this on in an outdoor clothing store. I loved the true to size fit and the soft, light material. When I read that it helps keep bugs away I was intrigued. This protection lasts for 70 washings, so for the life of the shirt. There is no smell to the fabric. I live in mosquito and tick country, so any help is appreciated. I sadly left the shirt behind with it's price tag of $85. I found the same shirt and color here for $51. Score!

Took this shirt backpacking in the mountains. While every one else was putting bug repellent on & still getting bit I didn't have to worry. I only got 1 bite the entire 4 days!

This shirt was true to size and fit well . I think it deterred the bugs as I did not get bit, but you will sweat in it a lot. I was suprised that even though I was hot a sweaty i did not get bit. Go figure
