What I like about the Canada Goose Camrose:

The jacket feels extremely good, very light, smooth and warm

The fabric is strong, durable and water repellent

The style is sportive and classic, the buttons look good and are well attached

The absence of a fur is a matter of taste, I like it without fur

The hood fits well, not too big or too small

What I don't like:

The zipper is a bit wavy which creates an unadvantageous shape.

The cut of the Camrose is good overall but not ideal for women with broader hips. As to the size: I am 175 cm (5,7 feet) tall and my weight is 69 kilos (152 pound). I wear size M which perfectly fits.

All in all this is my favorite winter garment.

I bought this coat for my wife to use during the harsh Montana winters. I got it in white and the coat looks great on her and keeps her very warm. The listing says the coat is "...for those who ...do not require the protection of a fur ruff." In reality, the fur ruff is cosmetic only and contributes nothing to the "protection" of the coat. I know that because I have the man's version of the coat that does have the fur ruff; The fur looks good (though it gets in my eyes when I put the hood up) but has only aesthetic function.

This review focuses on what was expected when placing the order vs what was delivered. The item was bought as a gift, I have not worn it myself, so I cannot comment on the feel or warmth etc.

1. Jacket is advertised as having a TEI of 4 which is -15C to -25C. In reality, the tag on the delivered jacket reads TEI of 3 which is -10C to -20C.

2. The jacket had some manufacturing defects where loose threads were sticking out from the interior. Since this item was a gift for someone, it was highly embarrassing discovering these things after presenting it to them. I expected much better quality control from both Amazon and Canada Goose (especially considering the price of the jacket).

Bought this for the missus and she has not complained at all. I would highly recommend this coat to any female looking to stay trim and not look as if she's the abominable snowman.
