I love these pants. They're very comfortable. I can wear them with just a t-shirt and sneakers, or I can dress them up a little with a nice top and wear them in a business setting. Also good for hiking (I first saw them at REI, but they were out of my size, so I came here). As a previous reviewer commented, they do run a little big. I normally wear an 8, but had to order a 10. The 10s are actually just a little big in the waist, there's some extra material there. But they fit perfectly through the butt and hips, and the 8 would have been WAY too small.

I love the Lole brand. Very confortable yet stylish. I have a few tops from them but these were my first pants. I wear between a 12-14 depending on the brand but these in 14 were just too large so I am exchanging for a size 12.

If you've searched "travel pants" or "hiking pants" you know the choices for anything that is remotely trendy is very limited; they are often high-waisted and look like "mom jeans" these pants are the exception! The fit is more modern with a flat front, lower waist and overall updated look. And, you don't have to sacrifice COMFORT for style! These are the most comfortable pants that I've worn except maybe sweatpants or yoga pants! The 4-way stretch is outstanding you can bend, squat, etc and never feel a pinch or pull because of the immense amount of stretch!

I'm 5'7", 138 lbs and the size 6 fits...but it's a bit tight. Not too tight that I wouldn't wear them and due to the 4-way stretch they are still very comfortable. Perhaps after wearing them for a longer period of time they will stretch a bit overall? The length is good too. Maybe 1/2" 1" too long but nothing that would require hemming. If these pants are worn with tennis shoes the length would be fine. If worn with sandals or flip flops they may be a bit too long. The previous review was confusing because they indicated the pants ran "big" but then went on to say they ordered one size UP and it fit okay...the smaller size would've been too small. I'm guessing they meant these pants ran a bit SMALL which they do but not so small that a full size up is necessary...just something to consider if you're between sizes.

Overall, only 4 stars because it seems to run maybe a 1/2 size small but that would not prevent me from buying them at all! If you're debating about sizing, maybe go up one size for a more relaxed fit or stick with your normal size for a slimmer fit.

Since I have a 31-1/2 Inch inseam, average length pants are marginal and long length pants are usually too long in the crotch. The torso on these pants fits my ample size 14 perfectly and the 33 inch length was easy to hem to fit. All I needed for two weeks in Europe were the jeans that I wore and these pants. They pack lightly, don't wrinkle and are dressy enough for dinner at a restaurant.
