Used these during the winter months in Florida and they really have taken the chill off from the water which is usually in the mid to low 60s. I bought them specifically for Escape from Alcatraz and am hoping that they keep my feet reasonably warm in the 52 degree water.

These quality socks held up well and kept the bottoms of my feet from getting scuffed. But, I won't be wearing them in the future as they turn my feet into anchors that drag me down in the water. This is not at the fault of the socks. They didn't work for me, but who knows, they may work for you. Results may vary. :-)

I bought these in preparation for Ironman Lake Tahoe. The water temperature ended up being around 62F and the air temperature was 29F. These booties were invaluable both while waiting in the cold sand for the race start and during the 2.4 mile swim.

Once again, Amazon has come through for me! I have found a love for taking part in Triathlons. However I don't love the yucky / rocky feeling of the bottom of the ocean or lake under my feet. Having seen other tri-athletes with swim socks I turned to Amazon to investigate. I had been considering buying swim socks for some time. I clicked on and read the reviews and decided to spend the almost 30.00, and I am so happy I did! LOVE THEM!!! I wear them while I am competeing and love the fact I do not have to worry about touching the slimy or rocky bottom of any ocean or lake. They do not weigh me down at all as I read in a few reviews. They are SO comfortable! I wear a woman's size 9 the large fit perfectly. They absoutly met my expectations :)
