I have worn the earlier versions of the Cael Sanderson wrestling shoe and this is by far the best one yet. I am sure some will disagree but this may be the best wrestling shoe on the market. The original Combat Speed was a great fit and the Cael 5.0 is right there in comfortableness. I put it on from the box and wore it at practice that night. Excellent shoe.

I bought these shoes for my son who wrestled for his high school this year. The pair he had before were Nike and they didn't provide enough traction. The first day he wore these, he said that he had much more traction on the mat. I read some of the reviews before I purchased them and saw that they tend to run a bit small. I ordered a half size larger than he normally wears, and they were still a tight fit. Even so, my son said that they are snug but not uncomfortable. He absolutely loves them.
