I say it fits as expected, and I say that from an avid cyclist / racing point of view. They fit tight (as they should and are designed to), and are made for road racing cycling shoes. Fitting them over traditional shoe style cycling shoes or some mountain bike shoes might not work (that said, I can get them over my runner-style NW commuter shoes when needed. My only fit comment it that the ankle fits smaller, but on days when I have had heavier socks underneath I leave them not fully zipped and they've never fallen down or unzipped (I have owned them for two years and use them regularly). They are AWESOME! Cut the wind and/or rain with out adding heat or insulation (big plus in the rain). Well made, take a TON of abuse, frequent stretching over shoes larger and rougher than designed for (my commuters), etc, and so far have no tears, rips or thinning spots and are just as snug as when purchased. Zipper performs just as well as it did when I bought them. If I ever lose them, I will replace immediately with the same model!

These provide some wind and chill protection. I used these to race in 40 degree weather and was very comfortable. They are not warm enough to do an easy ride in that weather. The covers are easy to put on, but fit nice and snugly. They also are very sensible when it comes to the bottom of the shoe: they fit snugly around the toe, have an elastic band just behind the cleat, and a nice tough zipper that stays put at the rear of the cover. You don't have to stress the cover too much to get them on, and you can walk a short distance without tearing them up. They work great.

I like the shoe covers but my ankles may be a little larger than most so the zipper often comes down. Other brands have Velcro to ensure the zipper stays in place. I can see a modification coming soon.

What a fantastic shoe cover... Completely wind and water proof no more cold toes on those chilly morning winter rides. I've bought cheaper Lycra covers before and there is just no comparison. You can tell the quality as you'd expect being a Sugoi product elastic underfoot is broad and strong, zip at rear is strong too. Very happy!

Good:

Very thin and lightweight. Material seems durable.

Bad:

As indicated in reviews for similar items, the sizing is misleading. I ordered XL for my 8.5 size Shimano MD76 shoes and fit is extremely tight.

It is not water proof. It does not leak but is soaks up water on the inner surface. My guess is that despite the tight fit, water gets in from the bottom and gets up through capillarity through the seams of the shoe. My shoes did not get much wet in 20min but I did not need to replace my socks after riding in heavy rain.

Can't really recommend this as it does not serve its usage

UPDATE:

After maybe 20 or so times using it, the time came to trash this product.

Needless to say, I'd categorize this as expensive piece of rubbish.
