This is a nice garment. The colors are fantastic. But remember that this really is dance wear, it is made for ease of movement. The fabric is light weight and too see-thru by its self. As a layer, over a leotard, it works well.

I am a new mom and this item popped up when I was searching Amazon for nursing tops. Now baby is 4 months old, and I'm trying to get back in shape doing home exercise plus Pilates and yoga classes. I absolutely LOVE this sweater dress its a very thin, not-quite-opaque soft stretchy knit with an off-the-shoulder wide ballet neck. I pull it on over the tank top and leggings I work out in. On chilly days, I leave it on during workouts because it adds a layer of warmth but is very breathable and moves effortlessly with my body. On warmer days, I take it off to work out in but put it on after wards to stroll around to get coffee, run errands, etc. It looks incredibly cute pulled on over a tank and leggings, especially with some knee high boots. When I get home, its great for lounging and nursing the baby. Great customer service and fast delivery. Make sure you read the sizing information, I usually wear an xs/sm but a medium fits me well (Im 5'2", 120lbs). I haven't taken it off since I got it in the mail!

As a yoga instructor, I encourage all my students to love and celebrate their bodies in all their uniqueness. One of the most enjoyable ways to celebrate being a body, I think, is to adorn yourself in clothes that make you feel both beautiful and comfortable clothes that are exciting *and* liberating. KD does such an amazing job of creating these kinds of clothes, and I've been meaning to comment on this sweater dress in particular for a while, as my husband gave it to me as a Christmas present. It is one of the most sensual and versatile garments I own: I've worn it over skinny jeans with boots in the cooler temps, and have worn it either with KD's low-rise tights or with bare legs to cocktail parties. If I'm going to wear it by itself, I either do a full-body slip underneath, or a camisole top with some Spanx on the bottom. The fabric of the dress is thinner than you might expect, but because it's made to move and breathe, its delicacy is part of what I love about it, and what feels so good about wearing it. I think there's something really sexy about being able to see a woman's classy under-layers beneath the mesh of her dress it makes an unforgettable fashion statement. I also have found that I can keep wearing this straight into the warmer weather, *because* it's so breathable and I'm usually inside in a/c anyway. I can't recommend this dress enough and several of my students, with really different body types, have bought it and worn it beautifully.

My arms are very thin (i am small bone body type), still this sweater has extremely narrow sleeves, i ordered two sizes, M and L, and i am 5'7", M size fits ok, but shorter than they show on the picture, L is too wide in waist line, but the length is about what they show on the picture, BOTH have very-very narrow/tight sleeves. Navy blue is not same as they show on the picture, it's completely black. The quality is very cheap, this sweater should cost no more than $10, it has thick, sticking out seam on the back, and also it fits awfully under arms, the way it's designed it has massive amount of folds when bringing arms down, only looks ok if you hold your arms straight up, like on their picture.
