Best for casual/ light recreational use where medium cushioning might make the shoe/sock combination too snug. No hot spots on toe seam to cause blisters or toe box uncomfortableness. A great buy, especially on sale.

This was my first purchase of Icebreaker socks and I was so impressed I turned right around and bought some more. The ultralites are exactly that thin and lightweight perfect for warmer weather and when you want to feel your shoes instead of your socks.
