I Have a pair of the pearl attack gloves. I have to say they saved my hands. I was struck by a car while on my bicycle and when i was struck it was from behind and the impact sent me over the handle bars and my hands and forearms touched the cement first, had i not been wearing my gloves i would have had some serious soft tissue damage on my hands. The gloves gave in to the course cement and they are destroyed but they saved my hands except for friction rash from the pressure of the glove grinding on the cement.

I 've had Pearl Izumi Select gloves for about 18months and they were starting to show a lot of wear so I saw these and they looked the same but they bunch up between my pointer finger and thumb making my hands go numb very quickly when road riding. They are also a bit smaller then my PI Select's but they probably have stretched from being soaked with sweat from 2 summers of riding. They are very well made with durable materials. One advantage that these gloves have over the select's is that the palm of the glove extends an extra 1/2-3/4" which would protect you wrist better from road rash if you fell and put your hand down to catch yourself. I might give them a go when I am mountain biking, but I will probably just give them away and get another pair of Select gloves.

These gloves were awesome on my ride in this mornig. Made a tremendous difference as far as comfort. They seem to padded in just the right spots. Will have to see how they hold up. Good purchase for the price.

Great value. Cheap and arrived quick. Fits me true to size. Use for daily rides. Bought another pair I liked them so much. In FL so I sweat them up and hand rinse them after each ride sun dry. Held up to the abuse without busted seams or shrinking.

I bought these because I recently bought a bike. I'm not racing as I mostly will be riding around town. I wanted a pair of gloves that offered padding, but not to thick and these were just right. I also wanted something with orange in it as my bike has orange accents. If you know what size your regular ....let's say winter gloves are then just over these in the same size and you'll be fine.
