This coat is warm, rainproof, windproof, and looks great on.
I live in an area that is very rainy and has high winds. No problem with rain or wind while wearing this coat. Keeps you toasty warm. The slide through pocket is great for getting my keys out of my pocket w/o having to unzip the coat.
Size L fit me perfect. I am 5'8", 175# with broad shoulders.

Oh, and I'm guessing that the hood was designed for wearing over a military helmet, because it's big enough to sublet. You won't just laugh at the winter, you'll beat it up and take its lunch money.

Its a very nice jacket. Like so many things, it's made overseas. I have an original Alpha jacket but that one was made in the USA.. Night and day difference in the feel of the fabric and construction. All in all it's still a good jacket.
