I do realize this is a child's product and the color and material were fine. If you'll be using it around the house with smaller balls you may not have any problems. We bought it for our 7 year old who started playing softball. The mit pocket is smaller than other 10.5 mits and does not hold a traditional sized sotball well. We moved her up to a 11, but looked specifically for one that had a deeper pocket.

This glove is great! It didn't take long to "wear in" and it's definately perfect for my daughter to play in.
** new** Now the season is over, the glove still looks great steal. I noticed a couple other players who had the same glove, and I asked them where they got it and how much they paid. All three of them stated they got them from "other" stores. All three of the other girls paid over 24 dollars for them. If you have a prime account, this glove is a good deal. A couple other girls had a glove that tied at the bottom (this one is velcro) and the leather kept coming untied. Velcro is GREAT! :)

This is an excellent glove for the price. My daughter loves it and she has had no issues so far. I would recommend this to any young girl, but would like to have seen it a little softer to squeeze. Little girls dont have the strength to squeeze
