I used this product to do some maintenance on my 10+ year old Marmot Equinox tent. Age and UV exposure have shrunk the tent somewhat, so the zippers were getting a little difficult to operate. Every zipper now works more smoothly than they did before application. I'm a big fan of taking care of your gear and getting your money's worth out of it, so I couldn't be happier with this product.

I bought this zipper cleaner and lubricant to use on a pair of tall boots that zip up the back. The zipper tends to get dirt/mud in it when I walk around in them and I needed a way to clean the zipper and keep it in good condition.

The McNett Zip Care Liquid's bottle is cleverly designed with a cap that snaps open a closed and is tipped with a brush so that you can clean the zipper and apply the lube at the same time. I like the design. However, the lubricant is very liquid--more like water than a gel--so it is very easy to apply too much of it and cause the lube to leak all over whatever item you're applying it to.

Also, I was disappointed that my zipper didn't seem to zip or unzip more easily after I used this product. I was hoping that the zipper would become easier to use and less prone to catching. No such luck. On the bright side, this product doesn't seem to make the zipper any worse, and it does clean the zipper off a bit.

Great product with fairly installation. Spot welds were a little hard to break and instructions were a tad none descriptive, but the product does as described.
