This fleece does fit a little snugly, but it is well worth it because the Omniheat technology and water resistant fleece have kept me warm and dry throughout the fall and a few snow storms. I can comfortably wear a button down shirt underneath a sweater under this fleece. Highly recommend!

Don't give an item a bad review because you bought the wrong size. Return it and buy a bigger size. I bought a large, too snug, so I exchanged it for an XL and it fits well. Also, if you are so stylish that the lining showing bothers you, go buy a Gucci fleece. This is a good everyday fleece and wind break. It is not an expensive technical jacket so if you want one of those spend the money and buy a better brand. Overall a good jacket for the price. Good quality and warm.

I have not yet tried this out in the field, but here's my view:

1. It is not actually a fleece. At least not the lining. It has a shiny reflective lining which will reflect heat, but it is not the soft, warm feel of fleece. They could've had the Omni-heat lining, but still put a soft fleece over that to make it more comfortable and increase the warmth.

2. I normally wear an XL but based on other people's reviews I ordered an XXL. The shoulders definitely fit right, but there's a lot of extra material for me in the mid section. I'll be able to wear a down insulator underneath without a problem.

3. Overall, it seems like a good jacket. The main reason I got it was for the windproof quality and the warmth. For the price it's definitely worth it.

If I find that it doesn't meet my expectations in the field, I will update this review.

Recommend ordering one size up from the measurements, this is an athletic fitting jacket which you can layer over or wear a backpack with comfortably. I should have gotten one size larger.

Two reasons why I wouldn't purchase this jacket again. First off its smaller than any XL jacket I have ever purchased, especially in the mid-section. It's tapered and too snug, this isn't an XL it's more like a LG. The second reason this jacket is only OK is because of the Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective material. The silver lining is supposed to keep me warm and it does however if you get too warm and lower the zipper the polka dot silver lining shows and it does look a little strange.
