These mittens are AWESEOME! I brought them up to Alaska with me in March as we were on a trip to see the northern lights. We were out for 4 or 5 hours at a time (in -25°C weather) and these mittens kept my hands VERY toasty...sometimes a little too warm...but I'd rather that than freezing fingers :) The measurement guide is accurate with regards to the sizing. The mittens are also well made and are good quality. I highly recommend these!

These are great mitts. My hands get extremely cold during winter skiing, to the point of being painful. I've tried just about every kind of glove and mitten----leather, non-leather, Gore-Tex, hi-tech synthetic fill, etc., and nothing helps. I bought these mittens hoping the goose down fill would make a difference. I used them during a recent ski trip, along with a pair of glove liners and my hands were the warmest they've ever been. The goose down lining certainly makes a difference over any synthetically lined or filled glove or mitten I've used. I'm normally a medium to large in glove size so I originally bought a large in order to have a bit more room for liners and warmers, which sadly, I still have to use. They were a bit too big so I returned for a medium which was still roomy enough for liners/warmers and still allowed room to move my hands around comfortably. I think these gloves are the best bet yet for really cold hands and sub-zero temps. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
