The 5.11 Stacked Mag pouch with cover is designed to hold 2 AR 15 style magazines. It will also hold 1 AK style 30 round magazine and you will be able to close the cover over it but it will be canted a bit due to the shape of the magazine.

This is one mag holder among the many I have and use. It will hold two gen2 pmags tightly. I recommend these or the double stack to my friends
