This is Pearl Izumi's triathlon suit for athletes on a budget. I find the select suit fits well and I'm not pulling at the straps to adjust the comfort. The pad is good enough for ten mile tri. The leg elastic holds firm and rides up the leg only slightly. The front zipper did not snag at all. I soak it in the sink w/laundry soap and ring it out lightly then place it on a hanger to drip dry. I recomend this tri-suit.

Purchased this suit in anticipation of my first triathlon. I spent some time in it prior to race day and was very happy with its performance during my race. The suit was light and easy to move in, it dried very quickly after the swim and stayed dry throughout the rest of my race. The butt pad was small and took some getting used to (it is less padding than even a pair of shorts) but that is not a complaint, just an observation. I also had some slight chafing between my legs at the end of the day, but that was due to my legs rubbing together. I need to wear the suit a little higher in my crotch. All in all, a great tri-suit and a very good buy for the price.

I know that there are more seasoned triathlon athletes besides myself. I used this suit for my first triathlon and thought it did a great job. I don't have anything to compare it to because this is the only suit I've ever purchased, but it didn't cost a lot, it felt very comfortable to wear, and I didn't have any chafing problems. I also swam a lot faster in this suit. Previously in a pool I was averaging about 35 minutes for my one mile swim and on race day, wearing this suit, I completed my swim in 29 minutes. I could tell I floated on top of the water a lot better. All in all I was very happy with this purchase and I think this is a really good suit for the money.

Very pleased. I have my first race in it next week, but in my 20 mile bike/4 mile run workout this week it performed very well. For me, it's a touch loose in the legs (I normally wear L tops and M bottoms), but it didn't cause any problems. Black suit is hot in the sun on a warm Sacramento morning, but then again so are most other shirts.
