I recently purchased this tri suit with some mild skepticism. I wore this suit for a 1/2 IM and was amazed. Wow!!...I can say without hesitation, that the claims made were indeed matter of fact. The ambient temperature during the race was 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees F). I was comfortable throughout the entire race, and over the next few days I never experienced any of the usual post race effects...(stiff, sore, tired quads). I also wore the skins compression socks(for 24 hrs) immediately after the race. I ran a 10k the very next day, and biked 100k two days later....something that I have never been able to do before. A bit pricey, but well worth the investment...

Don't get me wrong, I dig this suit. I used it for a 70.3 race and it worked pretty well. I definitely wanted compression as I've used the socks and thought they worked well. What I didn't expect was how restrictive it was in the chest. It's got a pretty big zipper in the front and I basically raced with it open because I felt like it was extremely tight and I couldn't get enough breath with it closed. I'm 6' 1" and 180 lbs and I had the Large. Maybe I'm too broad shouldered. I'd recommend if you're a pretty slender guy up top.

This is really comfortable and is really helpful when going from the bike to the Kayak to the running... It is not cumbersome at all... Very good for Spring, Summer, and Fall weather... I will be using it at the Chilli Challenge on October 15TH, 2011 at the Montour Preserve in Danville, PA!!! Go SKINS!!!!!!
Honest reviews on Skinstri400 Men's Compression Sleeveless Suit
This suit was my third try at a "compression tri-suit." Previous ones that I had tried were 2XU compression tri-suit and the Orca RS1 endurance race suit. They ALL fit well, however, there were some draw backs to each. The 2XU was the least compressive of the three, particularly in the quadricept region but he core and chest were snug. The benefit of using 2XU lies in the SPF protection and core temperature cooling qualities. The Orca had the BEST compression of the three but ripped prior to race day. The SKINS was a good combination of both the 2XU and Orca. It uniformly fit well in all aspects: Chest, core, and quads. I just needed slightly more compression and would like the temperature reduction qualities of the 2XU. You can't win them all, or can you?
