It started out as my winter go to gear, living in the mid west, but I find my self now buying gear for use year-round and it performs flawlessly.
Wool isn't scratchy, keeps me coo/warm as needed and layers well.
Also quite durable, just finally had to replace some base layer pants and shirts purchased in 2007!

These tights are perfect for those between days when its too cold for shorts but too warm for full tights. Despite being thin fabric, I have been comfortable down to 25°F, and I haven't noticed any issues with getting cold on windy days. They dry fast and are super comfortable.
