I had high expectations when I bought this jacket, after I had read the online promo saying this was "the last golf jacket you will ever need". It's a nice jacket but I was wearing it on the golf course during a light rain shower and I got pretty damp. It didn't come close to living up to expectations.

After getting soaked during a round of golf in my former "water-resistant" jacket, I purchased the Greg Norman Ultra Light rain jacket. It folds up easily, fits into any of the larger pockets in my golf bag, and looks great (relatively unwrinkled) when it is taken out. In the times I have worn it, it has been absolutely waterproof and comfortable.

I do wonder why the front zipper does not unzip all the way. It can be unzipped to the bottom but stays hooked so the jacket has to be put on over your head. No big problem, but I was wondering if there is a method of separating the zipper at the bottom without breaking it. Perhaps a note on the jacket would help.

I was a little skeptical because I have only purchased gore-tex products for rain wear. But this product is excellent and light! the technology is fantastic! Very light weight, too.

Being on the golf course in all weathers, I own several waterproof suites but not a light weight WATERPROOF jacket which I could wear in the summer/fall.

In the past I purchased a couple of water "resistant" jackets, (waste of money if you are going to wear them in the rain) but I have worn this jacket twice in the last two weeks in heavy rain I would strongly recommend it to anyone wanting a summer/fall 100% WATRPROOF jacket, that folds and fits easily into the side pocket of your golf bag.
