The shorts have to be worn at the navel so they fit right in length. I wear my shorts lower at the hip, so the 5 inch inseam hang just above the knee. I am not a teenager so that is to long for me. The 100% Polyester and Internal Crepe Brief are on the warm side for Summer. The short is well made and look good, but not what I was looking for.

I've had such a hard time finding shorts that aren't longer than my knees (a modern but silly style). These are the perfect length---and they come with pockets; a rare find these days. I like the traditional shoelace type ties (instead of the often ineffective drawstring type). Lightweight. Feel good. Look good. Hopefully they'll last, but they're so unique that I'm ordering another pair.

These shorts are excellent for days at the gym or a short run. The side pockets are large enough for my cell phone (which I listen to music) and my keys. They are short enough to keep you moving freely but long enough not to be embarrassing at the gym. I bought a pair retail and liked enough to buy another from amazon.

At under half the price of my Nike and Under Armour running shorts, I was a bit skeptical when buying these. However, the quality definitely matches the Nike and UA shorts I've been using the past few years. Very comfortable, good length (short enough that they don't cover your knees or get in the way, but long enough that casual runners don't feel self-conscious), great price. I just ordered a second pair!
