These gloves are excellent for cold weather work. I operate in an area where it snows heavily during the winter and they are a life saver.

Pros: Good construction. They come on and off easily. Excellent material keeps hands warm in freezing conditions. Glove designed so weapons can still be drawn while wearing even with complicated weapon holsters.

Cons: 5.11 has poor quality control so different gloves fit differently within same model. Loose fit means less precise dexterity.

I buy a new pair of gloves every couple of years. I've always switched up my product, but I've found a glove--this glove--which is perfect in comfort, style, and warmth. I would purchase this product again. I recommend this glove.

These gloves were selected based on my desire to have functional gloves that I could also wear to work. The cut of the gloves fit my hands perfectly, the leather is excellent, and the insulation (or cushioning, depending on activity) works great.

They are definitely comfortable, the only down side is that they almost seem as bulky as ski gloves. Still much better looking though.
