This didn't fit... I'm sad the medium fit so big! And the zipper was broken.... I wish I saved my money. I will Return this ugly thing!

Best Deals for 2XU Women's Insulation Vest

I recently moved to Colorado in early winter last year and still have to adjust to the cooler spring and winter weather. I move from abroad and am used to warmer running weather 365 days a year. When I moved here last year, I had to adjust to running indoors which is a bore so I've tried to get myself accustomed to the cold weather running by dressing appropriately. I found that a nice base layer of thermal bottoms and tops works well for cooler but not snowy weather. I always liked running in hoodies but couldn't find the right attire to accommodate my fairly large head (with beanie or hat) until I discovered this lovely 2xu vest on amazon.

I was a bit skeptical about ordering this item because I've never had experience with 2xu insulated jackets before though I know from friends that their tri wear works pretty well. I was initially looking for a down fill vest that was cheap enough to use as a beater and this fit the bill. I needed something that had a breathable material, that was warm enough and had a detachable hood that fit my head. I initially looked at north face, marmot and patagonia-the outdoor juggernauts but none of their products fit my requirements. Then I searched amazon and was lucky enough to find a deal on the 2xu.

I've used this vest about a handful of times and while it is not warm enough by itself it certainly adds a lot of warmth to a base layer (capilene, merino or fleece long sleeves). I've used it in evening runs and over my active racer back shirt while I rock climbed. The detachable hood is my favorite feature with this jacket. It is just the right size, fits my hat wearing head and it extends enough to cover part of my face from snow and sun. The material is also easy to clean. Got chalk dust allover it climbing and just pat it clean and it comes right off. For the price I paid for this item, it is truly a bargain.

It is AMAzing that an Australian product as fantastic as this is such a bargain on AMAzon. It is pathetic that an Australian has to purchase it from the USA, have it posted from the USA to Australia in order to get it for a decent price. 2XU Australian pricing is a bloody rip off. This vest is very nice, warm, light weight, but it runs really small. I sometimes take a medium, I ordered a large and I had to exchange it for an extra large.
