Very nice quality t-shirt but runs a little small. I would suggest sizing up unless you want it to be skin tight.

I don't know what technique was used to apply the pattern to this fabric, but the application was definitely done after the t-shirt had been made. Unfortunately there were obviously little wrinkles in the sleeve, yoke and underarm area when the pattern and colors were applied to the underlying white burnout fabric tee shirt, resulting in a number of white slivers showing up on the finished t-shirt. Depending on how large these are and where they happen to fall, the end result can be acceptable or unacceptable. The first shirt sent me had a large white slice in front where the left sleeve met the body of the t-shirt; it was large enough that it jumped out at you before you saw anything else. It looked like a piece of white paper was stuck to the shirt. So I returned it as defective and they sent me another one. This one also has random white slivers but they are generally smaller and not so in your face so I am keeping this one but still not really thrilled with the production quality. It's truly a beautiful shirt or at least it would be without this issue.

If you look at the picture of the Waterfall shirt you can see the random white slivers or go to the Prana website and zoom in and you can actually see the wrinkle that caused the white section. The picture of the Spinach colored shirt doesn't appear to have this issue, but the Sunset shirt has the white slivers on the sleeve. Also note that per the Prana website "The colors on Sunset Spiral Tee are reverse of what is shown; the top of the tee is orange and the bottom accent color is brown." so be forewarned that the Sunset shirt may not look the same as the picture.

If you can get one without the wrinkle issue, or one with more or less innocuous wrinkle problems, it's a great tee shirt but it's a gamble.

Size wise, I am usually a 10, very occasionally a 12, often a medium, sometimes a large but in this shirt I ordered an XL (this is my first ever XL). I could have gone with the large but that would have been very form fitting.

March 28 update: Amazon has posted new pictures that now show the actual color scheme of the Sunset shirt. They have also posted new pictures of the of the Water color which make the "white slice" problem more obvious.

I love PrAna summer weight tops. The spiral tee is really stunning in clover although I will probably get it in every color I can find. Unlike some PrAna tops this one has a modest neckline that allows you to forget about bra straps and cleavage, Yeay! It is made of tissue thin, breathable, wicking material that is stronger than it looks. The pattern keeps you from needing a camisole but some may feel they need one due to the sheer material. A lot of PrAna tees are hand dyed so you sometimes get some white areas here and there but it just adds to the unique nature of the shirts IMO. I recommend checking Prana's size chart if you get the generic chart. PrAna tends to run small. I sized up to an XL when I would normally take a M or L with my 38.5 bust and long torso and arms. I am a fit but not skinny woman. These shirts are conforming so any spare rolls you have will show. This is a long tee but you can scrunch it up a bit and wear it higher and it will stay. It is very feminine with really short sleeves. Cold wash and hang dry in a flash easy care. For active life or casual wear. Toss on a Prana Veeda wrap on cool evenings. Looks and feels great together. A favorite!

I like this for yoga but not much else. Fit is a bit snug but OK for doing yoga when you don't want clothes flappling!

Got tired of always wearing a plain cotton tee for yoga, or just relaxing. These tops are very lightweight. They do run small and I ordered medium instead of small and the fit is great. They are hand dyed so you do have variations in the pattern, but thats what makes them interesting.
