Review of prAna Women's Lexi Dress

This style might look nice on other body types, but for someone like me who is average height with a curvy hourglass figure (36C bust, size 6), this probably won't do anything good for you. I'm usually a big fan of prAna products and dresses, but I had to return this one because it just didn't look good on.

I bought this dress for a destination wedding in Cozumel in a couple of months. It's an adorable dress. The fit is as expected. I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs. I bought a Small with the intention of losing a few pounds. The dress fits snug in the waist and will look much better when I'm a few pounds lighter. The removable cups in the shelf bra are a nice touch. My only complaint is that, due to my height, the dress falls just to the top of my knee. I intend to get it hemmed a couple of inches so I don't look so vertically challenged. Another plus the dress was delivered folded/rolled into a small bundle, maybe 4" x 6", and tied with a raffia bow. It had virtually no wrinkles when I shook the dress out to try it on. The cleaning instructions indicate it's machine washable and either line dry or dry flat no ironing or steaming. I hope this means that it will travel as well after being washed as it did when I received it. Another thing to note, I couldn't magnify the small picture to get a good look at the print of the dress (Berry Scallop). I initially thought it was orange, hot pink and brown. I would describe the colors more as coral and majenta and what I thought was brown is actually black. The coral makes the black look brown from a distance. A co-worker thought the same thing. Despite having to hem the dress, I'm very pleased.

I love this dress. I like dresses in general, and this one is fantastic. The print is beautiful and it is very flattering and with a shelf bra you don't have to wear a bra with it, which I always think is a plus.

I was unsure about ordering this dress, but figured I could return it if it didn't work out. It is actually much cuter in person. It fits well (I had to figure out the padded top area) and is just different enough that you don't feel it is just another sun dress. All in all, I am very pleased.

(Randy's wife) I am 5'4" 130 lbs and I bought an XS. It fits perfectly and is so flattering I love it! I own 4 Prana dresses two Quinn, one Sonja and one Lexi-they are awesome! Just throw it one and go! I am addicted!!!
