Bike clothing is expensive, so $40 is RELATIVELY inexpensive, and these do have some good features. I like the way they look, I like the pockets, they stretch well.

I'm not a fan of the material they are made of, though. It seems to make my legs feel sweaty/sticky quickly/easily, the opposite of what I want bike material to do. (I'm am someone who sweats a lot at the least provocation in spite of or because of? being fit.) I can ride around town in some materials (like my Ex Officio shorts) and not feel like I would like a shower right after, but not with these. If you are someone who is always cold and doesn't sweat much (like my wife) instead of usually hot and sweaty (like me) these might rate another star. They might also work better for warm people like me who like pants of this length when it's just too cold for shorts personally I usually put on long pants at that point.

Note that these have a center seam all the way, which means you will be sitting on it, unlike most well-made bike-specific bottoms. This doesn't bother me, and the material is such that I think it is unlikely to be an issue for most people, but be aware of it.

One other thing to know about these is that they absorb water like a sponge, unlike most synthetic active-wear materials that have at least some mild water repellent qualities. When wet they cling. If you get rained on wearing these you will know it until they dry, which fortunately happens pretty quickly.

Since my primary purpose for them is to wear them around town, not on epic bike rides, the "sticky factor" and not-good-rain-pant issue don't render them totally unusable for me. "Knickers", especially for men, are hard to find, and I wish this were a pair of pants that I want to tell everyone to run out and buy. But I don't, and I probably wouldn't buy another pair. Next time I might try the Rivendell knickers, although the new ones look more like short pants than knickers and they cost $25 more. Swrve has some that look good for $100. Argh. But if they were the perfect ones, and would last for years and years...?

These Pusher Capris feels really nice and with stretchy materials. I did high kicks, knee lifts and wide stance squats to test the stretchy material and they are great! It did not restrain my movements at all. It keeps my bottom dry and I can move freely while DH MTB. When I wear them,I actually look like the male model advertising the item. No offense to anyone but I do not have the curve to wear tighties biker shorts and also I do not want to look like my uncle and his buddies wearing their tighties and chit chatting after their bike ride. I'm relief to have these capris. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs and the size LARGE was a little to big for me. Luckily it has the adjustable strap.It's trendy without being to flashy. I'm definitely getting another when the size medium becomes available.

These are great! I am a big man, not fat, and have been looking for a good pair of cycling pants for my recumbent. I have tried everything. Nothing ever seemed to have the right combination of things, long enough, stretchy enough, no padding, pockets, what ever. These have everything.

These "capris" (Jeessh, could they come up with a more masculine sounding name?!) are a nice alternative. Great for those of us that don't like the old fashioned 1980's lycra look. Also, the length works well for cooler weather or for mountain biking where you can use some protection for your knees. The material cuts the wind better too. Size seems to run a little small in the waist, so get them big enough. Like someone else said the quality is reasonably good for the relatively inexpensive price. The belt is a little flimsy. I would have paid more for better quality. I wish they made these in a full length pant with elastic and zippers at the ankles. Overall, I like these.

I got these Shorts for my daily routine Biking , Runing , Walking .. Good design and very light weight material.,

But very Cheap Stiching !!! I have them for a Month, and all ready they have ripped on a part of the seam.
