I purchased this and another Ex Officio tee for my husband for our trip to Europe. I had purchased some undergarments before leaving for Paris a few months earlier and could not believe how comfortable and easy it was to wash and line dry these items. I had noticed prior to our trip last month that his traditional cotton tees were taking up a tremendous amount of space in our luggage. I purchased these Ex Officio tees the next day and when they arrived, re-packed our luggage. By packing these two Ex Officio tees and underwear, we saved quite a bit of space. I would highly recommend buying two of any of the tee shirts or undergarments so that you have one line/air drying while you wear the other. Additionally, after washing roll the items in a towel BEFORE line drying to get the remaining excess water you may have missed when wringing it out. If you do this before retiring for the evening, they'll be perfectly dry by morning.

I concur with the excellent rating of this shirt by so many reviewers. Not to repeat them, this may not be a good choice for you if you are taller. I am 6'2" and wear a 35" arm length in dress shirts--just barely a "tall". The body length on this shirt is not enough to stay tucked if I lift my arms past parallel to the ground. I have some New Balance lightweight running shirts that I have used as packable t-shirts and hoped to replace with this ExOfficio (after liking their briefs very much). The quality and the material are as promised--excellent. The length will disappoint taller wearers, though. At the time that I'm writing this I could only find one shirt by ExOfficio (not any of their undershirts) rated as tall on Amazon.

I am a fan of vnecks for going out, chillin and relaxing... own some cheapies, some calvin klien, but these are always, after a few washes, light and old man looking... this exofficio is ready to go right out of the package, extra bright white, much better looking than the pic shows too. I do have a naturally wide back and shoulders, 33 waist, and a big larger neck sizeI purchased two XL and am VERY glad with how it fitsit's cut is simply incredible, love the slightly longer sleeves (I don't find them like some other reviews, they are delightfully perfect length for me)these are going to be PERFECT for going outI will still wear my cheapies for around the house, and these are now my number one choice for going out, much more than some kind of underlayer or pajamas, for me. I wanna say with my review here too that this shirt stays cool while walking or sitting, cotton simply cannot even attempt to compete with the comfort and feel of this materialno type of clothing can in my honest opinion. Their fit flatters your body shape too, quite capable of concealing small love handles, waaaay fly looking. Exofficio doesn't need to paste their name all over their clothing like competitors (though I am a fan of this competitors clothing as well) theirs is tasteful and modern, mature and quite frankly, a piece of clothing I would be quite quick to recommend to anyone and everyone. GREAT buy you will not be sorry for, I will say this, I have one other I picked up at Banana Republic for around the same price, and exofficio FLOORS BR's shirts. Man I am happy with this shirt! I'm getting ready to try to find something the same for my lady!

EDIT: updateattended an outdoor festival with the shirt, was about 110 degrees in there surrounded by 9000 or so people. They work like they shouldsweat actually gathered on the outside of the material while my chest was tacky, not drippy. Incredible, no other shirt I own works like this one does!

If you like undershirts, you won't find any better than this. Thin lightweight fabric wicks very well to keep you comfortable in a wide range of weather conditions. Hand wash in the hotel sink, ring it out and it dries overnight. The fabric has some stretch so it never binds as you move around. V-neck sits a little lower around your neck, so it doesn't stick out from your outer shirt like T-shirts do. Note that, despite the claim of a slim fit, sizing on this shirt is very large. I weigh 160 pounds and wear size medium T-shirts from most brands, but this size small ExOfficio shirt is still loose on me.

It may be very light and wash and dry easy, but wearing it in a hot and humid climate wasn't very comfortable against the skin.
