This is the first PrAna item I've ever bought, and it's really nice quality. I bought this in the Coral Malibu color, and it's a darling dress! The pattern also has a lot of colors in it that should make it easy to match a variety of shoes and jewelry to.

I ended up ordering it in the short length since I'm 5'4" and didn't want the regular length of the Quinn dress to look too matronly; this shorter length hits about two to three inches above my knee, so if you're really tall, you might want the regular length. According to the Prana website, the regular length in this is 37" from the shoulder, and the short length is 26" at the outseam.

As for sizing, I went with the small and it's perfect. (I'm 5'4" and weigh about 120 pounds.) The inner shelf bra is also supportive enough for my 32D chest, and not too tight. I love it when I can get away with not wearing a bra (especially with an intricate back like the one on this dress), and this allows for that with no "headlights" showing through.

Also, I had been worried that this dress wouldn't suit my hourglass shape and that it might look too boxy on me, but it still emphasizes my curves.

The fabric on this is also interesting. It feels like a cotton, but I guess it's PrAna's Veeda fabric, which is a blend of recycled polyester, spun polyester, and spandex. It has a nice stretch/give to it, and it's supposed to be quick-drying.

I'll update my review after I've washed this a few times to note how well it holds up. In the meantime, I know I'll get a lot of use out of this dress this summer.

UPDATE ON 8/2/12: I wore this quite a bit on a 24-day cruise we just got back from, and it held up really well. I sent it to the ship's laundry a few times, where I know they washed it in hot water and dried it on high heat, and it maintained its color, shape, and size. Now that I'm back home, I'll be washing it on delicate and hanging it to dry, but it's nice to know that the quality is good enough to stand such harsh washing. The moisture-wicking properties of this dress were also great in hot, humid climates.

This dress feels wonderful on. The fit is comfortable and easy to wear. Great for the summer. I usually wear size 4 and small fits just perfect. The dress feels light and soft. Very happy with the quality.

I got this summer dress at the beginning of summer, and it became one of my favorite dresses. The fabric is nice and soft, and so far has stood up very well to repeated washings. It fits true to size, which is very nice, and has resisted snagging well. The color is very nice and bright (I got the Orchid Burst), and looks good at the beach or around town. The pattern is bold, which tends to hide it if you "nip out", though you can combine it with a strapless bra if you are worried or want more support than the built-in bra provides.

I think that this is a wonderful dress, and I was very happy the way it looked on me all summer. It really does do a great job of not wrinkling.

The fabric is substantial, yummy, heavy and yet cool and breathable at the same time. How they work their magic at Prana, I'll never know, but I am so glad they do. Hits mid-thigh which is perfect for wearing over black leggings. Shelf bra is super comfortable (I'm a 34D) and provides plenty of modesty coverage. Only problem is that at 5'9", 150 lbs, long legged athlete, it is a bit more snug that I wanted. I'm going to send it back to get the large.
