These open bottoms sweatpants are the first fleece, open bottom product that isn't a mile too long. I wear a large but am not very tall and have always had the problem of walking on my pant legs. I don't like elastic bottom sweats and have actually found comfortable, well made sweatpants that fit.

I thought these sweatpants would be the heavy, warm & snuggly material. Wrong. They are medium-weight and very snug to the skin. Going up one size or two didn't change the fact that they are made for the kids today...not us older folks. They were well-made and for someone in their 20s, but not for someone elderly looking for loose, warm sweats.

These sweatpants without elastic turned out to be just the thing to wear when one has just had a knee replacement. The sweats fit loosely of the knee, and when you take them off (or put them on) there is no elastic to grip the knee with its fresh incision. I have been using them steadily during my rehab.

I bought these pants hoping that the legs would be long enough to compensate for the inevitable laundry shrink. Alas, it was not to be. Out the of package, the pants fit great. I wear a 32-33 inseam. After the first wash & dry, I lost a good inch off the legs. So, long story short, ordering size large will get you roughly a 31-32 inseam after washing.

Overall, the tapered fit was as depicted. The pockets openings are a little small, but serviceable. I like the thick fabric pile. Very warm around the house. I just wish they had longer legs.

These are quality pants very comfortable and still good looking! My husband was pleased with this gift! Great to have open bottom legs no elastic digging in! Prompt delivery too!
