As a cupsole, the Laced offers protection but limits board feel. However, that's something worth sacrificing if you decide to throw down a decent amount of stairs. Also, unlike most cupsole shoes on the market, this shoe is pretty thin around the entire shoe. There's no collar protection, the tongue is made of a thin sheet of canvas and the insole is literally a few centimeters. But personally, I find a dress-esque shoe more appealing than a fat cinderblock of a shoe (but that's just me). The suede and overall durability is superb, other than the canvas lining near the toe cap, the shoe is pretty much unbreakable.
To cut a long story short, The Laced is a nicely priced, thinly padded cupsole shoe that skates well. And if it's good enough for Figgy, Leo and the rest of the Emerica crew: it's good enough for you!

Not bad for a skate shoe.. the shoe glue didn't have to gon on for a couple of weeks so I can say the shoes lasted a bit. They look great on!

I skate and these are the best. No problems at all with these shoes...The size, glue, color, laces are all like in the picture. Its suede so not recommended for skating a lot! Just use it for chilling out and cruising around.Dont do many tricks or they wont last!!!!
