I've used Scentlok for years, but nothing works like this camouflage pattern-multiple deer have walked right under my stand, even when I was turning around. It is a little snug, which is good for bowhunting but might limit insulation layers. I've used it like a windbreaker-haven't been in the rain yet. It is expensive-but most quality Gore-Tex is.

As a GORE product tester I had the opportunity to wear the Sitka Downpour on a recent bear hunt in Idaho. I sat through rain/snow showers and the rain gear worked great. I was impressed with how quiet the material was compared to other rain suits I have wore in the past. I highly recommend the Downpour for the treestand hunter that wants to be hunting regardless of what mother nature throws at you.
