One of my three shirts is in pretty bad shape... The other two are headed that way. I've washed them about a half dozen times. The neckline of one of the shirts is puckering badly and the half the stitching along the bottom seam has fallen out. Lots of loose threads, especially inside the armpit area. Other two shirts look like they will soon have the same problems.

Just paid $43.48 for 6 paper thin tee's from 5.11! Took them home & washed them alone in cold water to get rid of that "new" smell. When I took them out one of the shirts was unraveling on the bottom! I think these are way WAY overpriced & shoddy quality! Other 5.11 items I'll stand behind full bore but 5.11 dropped the ball here. I'm taking these back & going back to Stafford brand Tee's "heavyweight"! They're always on sale & I should have stuck to what i've been wearing the last 10 years! So should you!

When many of the high quality under tees, say Under Armour, etc., will charge as much as $40+ for just one, a 3-pack of these for $30 is a bargain.
I work in the law enforcement field, and must wear an undershirt. These come in a variety of the colors I need, are thinner, so not as hot, have a tighter neck that doesn't stretch out, it stays snug, for a more professional look. The sleeves are shorter to allow for better concealment under another short sleeve shirt, and the shirt tail is longer for better ease of tucking in. They dry quicky, as well as soaking in the sweat so it doesn't soak through to my outershirt...again, more proferssional looking.
I buy 3 of them, and they last me, wearing them 4-5 days a week, for a good 4-5 months worth opf hard, 12hr shifts...
They do occasionally unravel, but just snip it off, and it's all good.
I will wear no other undershirt now...

First off, these shirts are insanely more comfortable than the issued ACU shirts. A little expensive, but worth the money, the neck doesn't stretch out, they are soft, shirt stays tucked in, wicks sweat away and keeps you dry. Really just great all around. The only con is that the tend to fray a bit, but it's no big issue. I have used these as my daily use shirts under my ACU blouse for months now, and they are all still as good as the day I first got them! Highly recommend!

I have looked at the other reviews and they are all fairly accurate. In my opinion this item is a bit on the pricey side, but very functional for me. I am active military and wear this shirt daily. I recommend stocking up so that you can rotate to where you are wearing each shirt once a week. This has worked best for me. The shirts maintain shape and fit. I prefer the snug fit at neck as it looks better with minimal ruffle or curling. The cotton is durable and soft next to skin causing no irritation. A good choice for regular daily use. If you need a high performance shirt, this may not be for you. Good luck and God Bless.
