I want to love this watch just wish they made it brighter, can't see it in sun and if you tilt it its still weak. Bad design

Ordered the watch and when it arrived, the face was blank, so I assumed the battery was dead. Took it to a local jeweler who changed the battery and it still did not work. Thus, I opted to take advantage of Amazon's terrific, convenient and user-friendly return procedure, and asked them to send me a replacement. The replacement arrived in record time! The second watch worked, except for one major problem: I've followed the procedure for setting the "minutes" at least a dozen times, and the guidebook procedure that came with the watch never gets me to wherever it is that I need to be. So, forget the old adage, "It takes a masters' degree to set the date and time on this watch," because I've already got one of those and I still can't figure it out. I'm at a crossroads, for it is impossible to tell whether I'm still doing something wrong or the watch is defective. All this said, the watch is attractive to the eye and I'd love to figure out the way to make it work correctly. I'll give it another day or two and if I can't figure it out, I'm sending this one back too. I'm not going back for a Ph.D!

Bought this watch for my husband for our 1 year anniversary and he tells me this is this favorite watch he owns. The only thing he said was the band sometimes pulls out the hair on his beard but other than that he loves it. The shipping was faster than I expected.
