For the most part I've been very pleased with my Sugoi purchases (I've never had any issues with their clothing and I own all sorts of iterations of them from racing jerseys to winter gloves). With that in mind I decided to purchase this item for my wife as a gift. She was very pleased with it and found it to be adequately warm. It's good to wear this with a jacket on those brisk late fall/early winter days. Even cooler days (but not cold) merit wearing this with a light jersey over it. I thought the quality was good, the baselayer felt comfortable (much like how comfortable their high quality race jerseys are) and that it fit true to size. My wife was pleased and I recommend this item to anyone looking for a comfortable baselayer but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it (like my Pearl Izumi base layers, which by the way are excellent albeit much pricier).

I bought this recently for spring morning runs of an hour or more, and found it soft, stylish and comfortable. The fit is especially nice and the colour is lovely. However, I have had it a week and noticed this morning that there is a tear/hole in the right underarm. Typically I have found Sugoi products to be good quality but am particularly disappointed that this item fell apart soon after purchase and with only one gentle machine wash. For that reason I wouldn't recommend buying it and stick to more expensive (but better quality) items.
