I commute 7 miles daily in Anchorage, Alaska and this vest really helps drivers see me (although they still try to kill me at intersections). Our long, dark winters make "being seen" on a bicycle a matter of life and death in the Great Land. Sadly, at the beginning of fall, a young man was killed here, due in part to poor visibility. Additionally, I wear a backpack to carry my lunch (and extra clothes I might need) which the vest just fits over. I'm a big guy, 6 ft 220 lbs, and despite that size, the vest is comfortable, easy to put on and so far, has proved itself durable. I've been wearing it since September of '08. My wife has seen me commuting in the evening and commented that the vest is very reflective and visible at a distance.

Cons: This vest (it's more like a bib) has limited reflective material and takes a little practice to get on correctly. It fits tight around an adult male neck. It also cannot be said that it looks at all attractive.
Pros: The "butt flap" reflective stripe is positioned well and reflects car's headlights effectively, but is small.
