I would really say these are more of a heavy weight layer than mid-weight. They were great in the early morning when sitting on the blind in the 20's. But, where really to hot to wear when walking in the upper 30's -ended up taking them off and putting in my pack.
While on the blind, did have deer and a few cow elk come within 30 ft. They didn't notice me ... from that, assume the scent block works well.

The pants worked out well. They are warm, comfortable and priced extremely well. I would highly recommend these pants for all.

warm and comfortable!!!! They are like long johns with scent protection. True to size. Cant wait until Thursday to try them out in the woods.
