This is a standard, well made jersey. My 11 year old son bought it at $34 dollars his own moneythinking that its value would go up if Lin were traded and would be difficult to get if he was not. It would be a valuable collectors item that would be the envy of his friends, if not a potential eBay moneymaker. Oops! One day after he bought it Lin was traded, and the price proceeded to drop each day. Last time I checked it was $14. Good lesson in why day trading and gambling are not reliable professions. The jersey itself is fine, not as heavy as some that he has, but I guess a basketball jersey shouldn't be heavy anyway. He is wearing it and seems to like it for what it was intended to be rather than a potential investment opportunity. I also like the fact that Lin is, at least so far, a pretty good role model for kids. Hope success doesn't ruin him ...perhaps the jersey is good reminder of the innocent magic he brought to NY for one season.
