These TYR glasses were about half the price of the Vanquishers, but to me, they're not as good. The main thing that kills it for me is the configuration of the headstrap with the loose ends up front. I keep mine pretty tight, but at least 4 times in the last month, as I pull my goggles off my head, they've come loose, and I had to go fishing in the pool for the tiny square piece that you see in the picture. That doesn't happen with the Vanquisher, which doesn't have the same band setup. I'm sure I have attached it correctly as well my setup looks identical to the manufacturer picture.
These goggles also didn't anti-fog any where near as well as the Vanquishers. I'm making the switch to a non-metallized Vanquisher this week.
On the good side, the goggles do fit very well, and once they're on, they work pretty much without a hitch in the pool. An overall good/strong product, but somewhat problematic with the strap.

I used these goggles about three times a week for a year and a half straight. I was then unable to swim for a while and they were buried at the bottom of a drawer for another year. I am now back to swimming and am so impressed that these goggles have held up. Even the strap hasn't shown signs of snapping or breaking. They are just now starting to fog, but I use anti-fog spray and that does the trick. They leave minimal under-eye marks and are very comfortablemuch more so than the Speedo goggles I have used in the past. Visually, they are not as streamlined in appearance as some of the higher-end racing goggles, but they are just perfect for the swimmer who is in the pool for a good workout.
