This is amazing equipment. 5.11 did a great job with this. The fit is snug but not too tight with rip stop on the arms. You will not be dissappointed with this shirt and will fit well under your armour or battle rig.

This is a great shirt. I'm 6ft 175lbs and ordered a Medium size. I like the way the shirt hugs your midsection and shows off your physique. However, I was disappointed with the collar of the shirt. First off it's a little loose in the neck (maybe just me as I'm on the slimmer side) and if you wear it up like a turtle neck, it can really scratch your neck after a while as it's made of the same ripstop material as the sleeves. I think it would be better if it was not only tighter to the neck but a softer material and slightly shorter. The shirt is also quite long, not really an issue if you wear it tucked in, just a heads up.

Wearing the shirt zipped down looks really cool and almost has a casual look to it haha. If it wasn't for the issues with the collar I'd give it 5 stars. It's definitely a little long in the sleeves but that's what the velcro wrist straps are for. I tend to wear the shirt strapped up past my elbows like a short sleeve shirt anyway but if you put them too tight bending your arms can really cut off your circulation and restrict your movement. Probably not good if you're out doing any kind of combat training/carrying a weapon etc.

Also, be advised, the name tape is approximately 1.5" x 4". (In case anyone was wondering)

The 5.11 rapid assault shirt is pretty awesome in my opinion. It's pretty lightweight in the chest and back, and the sleeves are a durable material. I'm not concerned about any tears or anything though.

The sleeves felt pretty baggy to me when I tried it on, but I've had no experience with any kind of combat shirts or anything, so it could just be ignorance on my part. Not a huge concern though, I like to roll them up some anyways.

I love the 1/4 zip design, I'm my opinion this is the way a tactical shirt should be.

I really liked this shirt. I'm about 5'8", 167 lbs. I wear large in most shirts but this large was a bit too big for my liking. Will reorder in medium.
