This kept the falling snow off of my newly adopted pit bull. The chest did open up too much, even though I tightened it and collected snow. Probably not good for a long excursion. Also, they've now protected the elastic and plastic snaps with a cover of material. That's great, except now it flares out towards the middle/end like a dress...probably how it fits my dog, I dunno.

I just tell her we're going to put on her dress for her to go outside and she seems really happy! ha ha

We got this coat in X-small for our terrier mix, he is about 20 lbs, but taller than many terriers. The coat fits him very well and they have made several improvements to this since a previous coat we purchased for another dog. The clips are a really good quality and they snug up into covered areas in the coat such that the clips and straps are protected from snagging on things. The red color is great and reflective piping is a nice touch.
