Bought this bag after reading reviews on a number of similar products, including this one. I must say, this bag is super nice. I only have one hand gun. I carry it, ammo and all the other stuff I need at the range in this bag with no problem. The bag will easily carry 2 guns. It seems to be well made and everything is just right so far. Magazines fit in their holders, Glock fits in the zippered pouch, ammo, ear & eye protection fit in the center pouch. Plenty of other zippered pockets for more gear. Even has rubber feet to keep the bag off the ground. I've been toting aroung 300 rounds of ammo and the weight does not seem to disfigure the bag. Shoulder strap is comfortable and does not slip. I would definately recommend this bag to others.

I took this to the range today for the first time. Very pleased with this purchase! The overall quality and durability are definitely worth the higher price point.This little bag held my:
Glock 22 with 6 magazines, Ruger LC9 with 2 magazines, ear muffs (cheapo, non-foldup variety), .40 bore snake, 9mm bore snake, cleaning brushes, Leatherman Wave, mini Maglight, 150 rds of .40 S&W, and 150 rds of 9mm.
I could have squeezed my Bushnell mini-binoculars in there, as well as a few small odds and ends (mag-loader or something like that). I still have the side pocket on the I.D. card receptacle side empty. All in all, you're not going to find better use of available space than what the folks at 5.11 have done with this product. I have a strong background in manufacturing and I am a veteran, I know quality and durability when I see itthis is the epitome of both.
P.S. I had 3 people at the range ask me where I got the bag today, and nobody ever asked me about my old range bag.

An excellent small/medium range bag; great quality and well designed. We pack 2 handguns (in soft cases), 6 magazines, 350 rounds of ammunition, 2 sets of eyes & ears, and a Lula in ours. This bag is tough and sized right for me. I've had it for about 5 months now with weekly range trips. I take 3 pistols, 2 on me and 1 in the bag.In the main bag I usually pack 9 loaded mags in the 6 mag pockets, small and large Lula mag loaders in the opposite mesh pouches, range tokens, earbuds, phone backup battery, coins, etc. in the end zipped pockets.
In the very handy removable basket I keep a full size 1911 zipped in an inner pocket, and 2 boresnakes, lube, and qtips zipped in the opposite inside pocket. The main basket itself holds 200 rnds 9mm, 200 rnds .40, and a box of .380's, along with a pair of leight folding earmuffs, shooting glasses, and a rag. Yes it is heavy and I lug it to the bus stop and then from the bus stop to the range, about a mile walk per round trip. The bottom is still flat and the shoulder rigging is comfortable and unbelievably strong. I had to inspect it to see how it made because I couldn't imagine how it could stand up to my abusive loads. This is a heavy load pushing almost 600 rnds and a big pistol. 5.11 Tactical Range Qualifier Bag is *****.
