Great hat in many respects. When using the ear flaps, the hat is comfortable. When using the hat with the ear flaps zipped out and stored elsewhere, the hat is great. When folding the earflaps into the hat, the hat is nearly unwearable.

Nice hat, not the most fashionable but hey, that's not why I bought it it serves its purpose of keeping my ears from getting cold and achy. The only downside is my metal framed eyeglasses... the zipper on this hat, whether the ear flap is attached or unattached, rubs against the sides of my glasses. And since it's right by my ears, I hear this grating noise with every movement and I worry that the zipper will scratch the eyeglasses frame. I've given up on wearing glasses with this hat though that means I can't see the ground all that well, so I'm limited to paved paths and hope to heck I don't need to see any distance up the path either. The hat's zipper isn't ideal for me, I'll likely go back to combining a regular ball cap with a headband to cover my ears.
