I bought 3 pairs of these undies to take on a 10 day trip to Costa Rica. I am a petite girl with slim hips but a big bottom. I tried the medium size, which fit but was a little lose around the waist. The size small fit best on my petite 120lb frame. I would go for a slighty smaller size if you are in between and like your panties to have a sexier fit. They are super soft and they dry within hours, if toweled off and then hanged. I washed mine everyday, with just whatever soap was available and water. They can retain BO in the crotch area, so make sure to let the soap sit there for a few minutes, if you're concerned with being extra fresh. I wore these as regular panties and as beach bottoms, when my regular bathing suit was wet. Well worth the money, and now that I am home I still wear them, although the panty line is a little thick.

this is the best i've ever had. It doesn't smell and the material breathes well. I wear a size 2 in normal clothes and the Xs is perfect. I will get some more for my trip and daily use.

I purchased one pair of these and was really pleased with the fit. They are indeed lightweight and comfortable. However they were supposed to wick away moisture and dry quickly. This didn't happen. Our summers here are very hot, and if you are outside, all of your clothes will become damp with sweat. This was the case when I tried these out even after being back indoors in the a/c for a couple of hours, wearing very lightweight pants, they stayed damp. There's no way I would wear them on a long hike or camping trip either, because they were not at all odor resistant.
Maybe they would be better for use in the winter.

I brought these on a three month backpacking trip, and it was nice not to have to worry about underwear. The string bikini is my favorite ExOfficio underwear; I've also tried their Lacy Low-Rise. These are truly low-rise and won't show over low-rise bottoms while the lacy ones will. They are lightweight, very easy to clean by hand, and dry very quickly; I washed them while I was in the shower. I wore them for up to three days when necessary with no problem. They run true to size. I had only two problems: pantiliners and pads do not stick to this quick-dry material, and they tended to retain a crotch smell (ladies know what I mean) even after handwashing. I never found a solution to the first problem, but the smell issue seemed to be mitigated by letting the underwear soak and then intense scrubbing, but this isn't always possible in hostels or on the road.

Mine sag a little because they run big. These are great for wicking and breathing, though. You can't use fabric softener with technical fabrics, though! It clogs the garmet's "pores," essentially. Maybe that other reviewer didn't know that.
