I ran in these in the rain on a trail run and I stayed warm for the first 1.5 miles. After that I started walking and that's when I started to feel a little cold. These pants are designed to keep you warm and dry while running and that is what they will do. I am between a size 2 and four and the size small was not too tight. If you're looking for a tighter fit, maybe order a size down if you're in between sizes. I wasn't looking for a super tight, compressing fit so I am not disappointed at all. These are pricey but I got what I paid for.

These are petite in length, which can be hard to find! Zipper along leg/ankle does not rub at all. Pants have back zipper for key or cash. I rated them as running small, originally I purchased the medium but visible panty line and muffin top was evident. Large fits much better.
Overall, great weight pants for Minnesota temperatures!
