I've been using these Aero Tech Designs High Performance Mens Exercise Shorts a lot for my biking. They're superbly comfortable, including for a 48-mile ride. I use these when walking long distances as a way to eliminate the bane of large people everywhere friction.

They're tight, but supposed to be. There is a string in them which is annoying if it hangs too low but not a big deal.

I am considering buying more.
