Works great for those chilly days when you want to play in the water without putting on a full suit. Living in the Northeast we tend to have days in the 60's when we still want to go boating at the beach. This is a great top to have to enable you to still go in the water and stay warm. Was actually very surprised how warm it kept me in spite of the sleeves being open.

It works well to keep your core warm by blocking wind. I am normally a LG, but after reading comments got the XL. Glad I didfits snugly.

The Neosport vest is good for a few different purposes. I am in no way a scuba diver but I do kayak quite alot and as a base layer under your PFD it works great for torso support, warmth when the day isn't quite warm enough to go bare chested and gives a good barrier against the rubbing of the straps on your PFD. Overall: worth the price. The fit is a bit "snug" so I'd order the next size larger than you normally wear in a jacket or fitted shirt.

I ordered this vest due to its very attractive price. I'm happy to say that the XL fits me nearly perfectly, even with my athletic build. (I'm 5'11" 185, chest 45", waist about 34"). I wore this vest both by itself and under my 1 1/2mm wetsuit recently and it did the job. Really like the front zipper.
