Fairly light weight, but seems very warm. He wore it skiing and seemed comfortable in it. The colors are just adorable!
He wears a size 8 in pants/shirts and this jacket was still on the borderline of being too big!

I purchased a size Small for my son who is 8 years old and usually wears a 10/12 in tops. This is a little big on him but it will be perfect for next year. My son really loves the Blue Plaid color.
